Hole 16 – Par 4 – 303 Yards
The sixteenth hole at Elk City Golf & Country Club is a short, 303-yard par 4 that plays drastically uphill. A well-struck tee shot offers a scoring opportunity from the fairway, followed by an uphill second shot to a relatively flat putting surface. However, players must avoid missing short; any shot that doesn’t reach the putting surface will roll back down the slope approximately 40 yards. A large mound to the right of the green can be utilized by the player to help position the ball. As one of the easier greens to putt on the course, the 16th provides an excellent chance for a birdie.
