Hole 15 – Par 5 – 451 Yards
The par 5 15th measured 451 yards, and has a creek running all the way down the right side of the fairway. A creek also runs across the fairway, forcing players to decide whether or not to go for the green in two. It also gives players who decide to lay up a decision whether to lay up short of the creek or just over it. The approach shot must be precise; water on the left, bunker to the right of the green that pitches from right to left. Any approach short and left will find a watery grave; misses to the right leave tricky chip shots that can bring the water back into play. Number 15 is the signature hole at Elk City Golf and Country Club.
